Region - the Provence:

St.Tropez, St.Maxime, Marseille are one hours drive, Aix en Provence and Grasse 45 min. from the Mediterranean the nearest golf course is 20 minutes away.

Cotignac:
This village is classified with the status of “Village de Caractaire” (village with a lot of character) because it is one of the most beautiful and charming village of the Provence. It is blessed with a micro climate, which means that the temperature is most of the time very pleasant in early spring and late autumn time and even during winter. The village is typical provincial, one speaks often of “little Saint Tropez” in the Var with the advantage of the same charm as but without the over crowded streets which one knows from St.Tropez. There is a huge rock cliff of 80 m. high that dominates the village in a charming way, from the top you have a splendid view over the village and the hills beyond.

In the 11th century there where houses made in the cliff as up to day, this gives Cotignac a very charming and romantic atmosphere. On the bottom of the cliff you’ll find an open air theatre, where performances are held in spring and summer time.

Every Tuesday is market day under the beautiful Platanes trees, which gives Cotignac just that special Provencial atmosphere and smell of herbs and lavender.
With its many little market squares, fountains, terraces and small restaurants Cotignac offers you a fantastic holiday, full of charm and romance.
