This Mas / villa with swimming pool accommodates eight persons
and a baby.The house is situated 5 km from the village of
Cotignac, the centre of the Var. This provincial mas is
located in a quiet rural setting with a beautiful wide view
of vineyards and olive trees. This area is typical for people
who look for rural tranquillity or for families with children
who can play safely on own grounds.
The
main house is luxurious and comfortable the decoration
of the house is stylish and very tasteful in an ecru colour
range that fits the character of the house. The house
contains a hall with toilet, a utility room with washing-machine,
dryer, large fridge/freezer and iron with board. The main
kitchen/ dining-room is equipped with dishwasher, microwave,
fridge, 4 elec. hotplates, elec. oven and a woodstove
(for winter). This room has a large table, sitting 8,
through the french window doors you have a splendid view
to the terrace and vineyards.
Next to the kitchen is the sitting room that has a large
sofa an easy-chair and two easy chairs on each site of
the fireplace, witch is very pleasant during wintertime.
Behind the sitting room is a bedroom which is divided
by two French window doors, and has a double bed and (as
from nov. 2006) an adjoining bathroom.
The bedroom on the first floor has a beautiful oak beam
ceiling and contains 4 single beds and an en suite bathroom
with shower, water basin and toilet. There is a cod and
a highchair for small children.
The guesthouse has a bedroom with a large double bed and
an en suite bathroom, containing shower, water basin and
toilet. All rooms have electric heating which makes it
possible to stay in the house also during winter time.
In
front of the main house is a large terrace of pebble stones
with a table where you can enjoy lunch, under a massive
centuries old oak tree, overlooking the vineyard. Between
the main house and the guest house you’ll find a
covered terrace with a settee and a table sitting 8. Beyond
the guesthouse is the summer kitchen with stone barbeque/oven,
electric oven, double elec. hotplates and fridge.
Adjacent to the summer kitchen you will find a terrace
with a table for 8 persons overlooking the orchard of
cherry trees and the swimming pool (55 m²). The pool
is surrounded by a large terrace, where you can relax
in the comfortable “La fuma” chairs. Next
to the pool is a “jeux de boulles “area. The
plot is 25000 m2.
